Lindy Mechefske is the award-winning author of Sir John’s Table: The Culinary Life and Times of Canada’s First Prime Minister and A Taste of Wintergreen. She’s a food columnist with Canada’s oldest newspaper, the Kingston Whig-Standard and writes for a variety of Canadian magazines and literary journals.
Lindy spent her early years in England, where her love affair with food and history began in her grandfather’s ancient Yorkshire kitchen. She has lived in the USA and Australia, and now makes her home in Kingston, Ontario.
